The Finance Department is responsible for the collection, disbursement and investments of all city funds, preparing the annual budget and audit, processing the city’s payroll, managing Utility Billing, monitoring city purchases, risk management program, and administering the city’s depository agreements and transactions.
Other duties of the department include processing accounts payable transactions for all city department; providing monthly revenue and expenditure reports to staff; Preparing financial statements; administering the City’s cash management and investment program; coordinating capital improvement projects, invoicing miscellaneous receivables; and maintain records of the city’s fixed assets.
